The Lady Saints participate in the Harrisburg CYO Varsity Girls Basketball League, under the auspices of the Dioceses of Harrisburg, during the regular CYO season. In the off season, we conduct skill training sessions, open gyms, and participate in summer league games under the auspices of the St. Theresa Parish Athletic Association. We're proud to represent our school and our parish.

UPDATES:
Scheduling: We've confirmed times for Sharks Gym this coming week. See the schedule below for details.
Service Project: A few seasons ago we started holding service projects with the varsity team. For example, we've volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House in Hershey and helped collect and pack care packages for Marines in Afghanistan. I'd like to have our Summer Hoops players join in a special project that I think you'll agree is something special. Cara Uhrich, a Lady Saint from the Class of 2006, is working on her Gold Award Project. The Gold Award is the highest award in Girl Scouting. It symbolizes outstanding accomplishments in the areas of leadership, community service, career planning and personal development. A girl must be a registered Girl Scout Senior or Ambassador and have successfully completed specific requirements before she may begin working on the Girl Scout Gold Award project. This special project is an extension and a compilation of all that she has learned in Girl Scouting.
Cara's project involves collecting various items for children being treated in the Pediatric Cancer Center at the Hershey Med Center. (You may have read about Cara's project in the St. Theresa Church bulletin.) Items to be collected include crayons, thin activity/coloring books, puzzle books, and new small stuffed animals. We preach: "Once a Lady Saint, always a Lady Saint" and we mean it so we are pleased to lend Cara a helping hand.
We're asking each player to go with Mom or Dad to purchase a few of these small items and bring them to the gym next week for collection. If everyone does a little, this won't be a burden on anyone and will make a big difference for Cara and the kids she will be helping.
